  • Day 1: Arrival Luang Prabang

    English speaking guide and private driver
    Arrival warmly welcome to Luang Prabang, the ancient capital of the kingdom of Lane Xang and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its beautiful temples. You are greeted by a tour guide at the airport for your transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is at your own leisure.

  • Day 2: Luang Prabang – City tour – Pak Ou Caves

    After breakfast, visit The National Museum, which displays a lovely collection of artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture throughout the ages, and also visit the Human Chan, which is a Luang Prabang Heritage style house so you can experience Luang Prabang daily lives from this central traditional house. Then We the visit the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong where you can see the impressive “Tree of life” mosaic set in colored glass. Continue We’ll visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun. 
    In the afternoon, we will travel by boat up the tea-colored waters of the Mekong River to the Pak Ou Caves. The caves are home to hundreds of statues of Buddha, big and small, that have been left by devotees. You’ll be amazed to see how many are crammed in! Along the way, you will stop at a riverside Ban Xang Khong and Xieng Lek villages to see the famous weavers working on ancient looms before returning to town.
     Back to Luang Prabang, we climb up to Phousi Mountain, which offers a panoramic view of the city and the beautiful surrounding countryside. Visit Vat Chom Si which is on the summit of Mount Phousi.
    Before tour ends, We then explore the Night Market, where you can find a lovely selection of handmade textile made by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang.

  • Day 3: Luang Prabang - Kuangsi Waterfall

    An early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning alms giving ritual to saffron-clad monks. This tradition is unique to Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving this procession and we continue to explore the morning market to have a sightsee the sales foods on display. Transfer back to the hotel for breakfast.
    After breakfast, we will take time to visit the large Phousi market, where you will discover such local products as dried buffalo skin, local tea and saltpeter surrounded by chickens, vegetables and hill tribe fabrics.
    And then we take a drive of 30km out of Luang Prabang to visit Kuangsi Waterfall, which, though not very high, is spectacular and really beautiful with its green surroundings as the preserved National park. We stop en-route to visit Ban Na Oune, a small village of a hill-tribe group "Hmong", probably the best-known minority group in Laos. Just before arriving at Kuangsi waterfall, there is another village of Khmu minority group, namely Ban Tha Pane that we will visit. If you are insect lovers, also stop at a butterfly garden, enjoy beautiful butterflies and a coffee before cooling off in blue, crystal water of Kuangsi (don't forget to bring your swimming suit!).
    Relax and enjoy swimming as much as you want at the falls. You can also see bears in their huge cage. Return to Luang Prabang at the end of the day.

  • Day 4: Luang Prabang –Departure

    Private driver
    Breakfast at your hotel, you may have free time before being transferred to the Airport for departure to next destination. It’s time to say goodbye, we thank you for traveling with us and warmly welcome you to come again.
